​Ladies Cricket is getting more and more popular in the world. The best teams still belong to big Cricketing nations like Australia, England, South Africa, West Indies etc. but with ICC support Associate members like Sweden are also developing Cricket among women.

I'The year 2013 is first time a regular ladies league is being set-up in Sweden. Clubs like SACS and Göteborg CC now have regular trainings for their ladies teams.​ There are also International fixtures planned against Finland and Estonia during summer.
